I have been SO concerned about the dangers of plastic-leaching and assumed that there wasn't much to choose from in the way of glass storage containers and that it would be too expensive to buy, but I was wrong on both counts! I love the Pyrex glass storage ware. It is very thick, in my opinion, and the lids are very easy to get on if you start at one end and "smooth" your way around. My lids have all fit well. Also, the design of these lids makes them easier to clean. All the previous plastic container lids I've owned have had a very narrow opening on the underside edge where the container fits into the lid. These crevices can trap bits of food (usually sauces gone astray in my experience) and can be very difficult to clean. The Pyrex lids have a wide lip that can easily be wiped out. I haven't tried liquids in them yet to know about leakage, but I'm sold on them for carrying lunches, storing all kinds of cooked foods, raw vegetables, etc. in the refrigerator, and have put a bunch of them in the freezer also with lunches in them. They clean up in a SNAP (the round ones are easier to clean than the square one because of having no corners), and they seem very sturdy and well-made. The red lids are a little garish and overly bright in my opinion and are not truly red, so I much prefer the blue ones, but in the end it doesn't matter that much since they're just for food storage! I purchased 3 different sets of the Pyrex glass storage and love them all. A lot of them nest together to save space also, which helps in storing all of these! I've already gotten rid of the majority of my plastic ware, and I just got a new Pyrex set yesterday, so I'll be getting rid of more of the plastic now! The 4-cup size is great for ALL KINDS of things and is my very favorite lunch size, and the 2-cup containers are my next-most-used size after the 4-cup size. The 2-cup sizes are SO handy for so many things that I couldn't do without them. Some people sort of complain about the smaller sizes that are included in most of the sets, but I find the smaller sizes so useful for so many things that I couldn't do without them. Needless to say by this point, I'm thrilled that these are now available to buy!

It is an excellent product. But rectangle shapes are better for storage.

these bowls are nice. the glass is sturdy and the lids fit snuggly. I would have given this product five stars if they were able to go directly from frig. to microwave.

We have tried to replace all of our plastic storage containers for glass, due to concerns about the chemicals in plastic. I already owned two of these sets, so when I saw it as a lightening buy from Amazon, I grabbed it. Lids fit well, containers can go into the freezer, they clean easily (no red staining from tomatoes), and they stack.

These glass containers are great and so versatile. They can be used to measure ingredients into, store leftovers or have a bowl of cereal. I will definitely be purchasing another set!

I hate the smell of the classic moth balls, so I got this; very good for the price, and so far it kept the moths away (I had it for about 4 months now) - My mother in law came to live with us, and brought all her clothes from her house, where she used to have a moth problem.

I have used this for storing Christmas and other clothing for a long time and I really love it. The herbal smell is SOOOO much better than the old nasty moth balls! The seller was fantastic and sent it to me pronto!! Easy transaction!

I used these satchels in bags of alpaca fiber after my animals were sheared. I had to store the fiber for several years before I sent it off to the mill and one of my worst fears was moths getting into the fiber. These satchels were a god send! I didn't want to use moth balls because they are notorious for leaving a noxious smell. This product smells wonderful and after 2 years of storage my fiber is moth free and I just got my yarn back from the mill! Mission accomplished.

I put these in with some knitting yarn to ward off the moths and wound up with moth farm! Moths were in sachets and ate their way out and into the yarn nearest sachets leaving herbs and ruined yarn. Effective for a year?? Hah! Was less than a year when I found out that moths had destroyed my yarn! Cedar blocks and space bags are the way to go if you are trying to protect your garments! I'd give this item zero or negative stars if I could!

Why would anyone opt for smelly camphor when they can have their sweaters scented with a light, refreshing herbal sachet. Not sure as yet about their effectiveness against moths (and by the way, moths don't eat sweaters -- it's the eggs they lay that do the damage) but I do like the herbal scent. I've put these in all my drawers not only with the wools and cashmeres.

The picture makes it look like I can really hold a lot of animals, but I found I had to carefully balance them to try to get it to hold more than a few. As soon as my son tries to take one off of it, they all start to fall. If you are putting this some where that a child will not be touching it, then it may suit your purpose.

This product is a life saver. No more stuffed animals all over my daughters room.

my granddaughter really likes the stuffed animal holder, she can get to her stuffed animals without digging thru her closet or storage drawers

This thing does what it says it will. Can you say the same of yourself? I doubt it. Anyway, as ghetto fab as it sounds I found that to get my head unit to stay at the perfect level height for the faceplate to be flush I had to put a PS2 game case in the bottom of the tray. Just throw it in there and slide the head unit in and it will be at the perfect angle, I promise. Otherwise the unit will be tilted up with a big gap at the bottom. You'll see what I mean when/if you buy this. I used it to throw a new cd player beneath my Chevelle's dash as a temp solution. But it works well.

I bought this item for my 1965 Ford Falcon and it looks great. It fits real good with the car and I get to keep the original radio in the dash for looks.

I looked through every CD case on Amazon and the internet and it seems that the 3 ring binder system has been abandoned for a cheaper and more cumbersome alternative - the Quick-Lock(tm) Moveable Page System, or some gimmicky variation of it. I have not actually inspected one of these new quick lock cases, but from reading all the reviews I gather that it is not the greatest and that the 3 ring system is better, simpler and more reliable. I have an old 3 ring cd case that I love but it is beyond full and I have stacks of discs that need a home. After some serious investigation and searching it became clear that this particular case is the only one out there that still has the 3 rings. The advantage to the 3 ring system is that you can flip to any page and remove or add a page without having to take everything out. The quick lock system forces you to start at the front and remove every single page to get to the one you want. Obviously the 3 ring system makes more sense and it is beyond me why they would stop making them in favor of something that is so much more complicated. So this particular case arrived and to my disappointment, the pages are oriented so the disc goes in right to left instead of top down. Despite my initial reaction, after putting a bunch of discs in I realized that the discs actually fit VERY snugly in their slots so that when the case is held by its exterior handle, the discs remain tight in their slots. So it seems that the sideways disc pages are not such a negative thing, but time will tell if they remain as snug as they are now. Other than the odd page setup, this case is good. I do not think there is another 3 ring case left out there so I am considering getting another one if it holds up over time.

I use this case to store DVDs I record and it works very well for this purpose. Seems well built and looks nice.
